Joe Shelton’s Album Launch Extravaganza - National Road Music Series Event 8 - May 18

The National Road Music Series is brought to you by Moonshine and Music and Dominos Pizza. Our goal is to bring ORIGINAL music artists to Hancock County and encourage a local culture of Music, Creativity and Entertainment.

Joe Shelton is a performer that connects directly with the audience through pouring his heart and soul into every song.  He’s taken the Indie Music scene by storm with the roaring success of his last 2 studio efforts The Americana Diaries which grabbed him a nomination for 2018 Album of the Year in NUVO as well as a nomination for Best Vocalist and In 2019 Joe released City of Trains which has over 5 million streams and got him a nomination in the Indy Star for 2019 Best Musical Artist. Joe calls Indianapolis home, but prior to the 2020 pandemic he toured and played over 200 nights per year.  Joe tours all over the place and plays music everywhere from the House of Blues in New Orleans to hometown shows at Radio Radio in Indianapolis ... anywhere to spread his music.  Joe’s songs evoke the love of family, the heartbreak of loss and catapult you into a world filled with heartfelt emotions.

This show is to celebrate the release of his 4th studio album and 5th overall. It will be called Somethin Just Aint Right and feature the new hot single Runaway. Joe brings his full band in for the show which is now known as Joe Shelton and Breakfast for Dinner.

It wouldn't be a party without some friends... so Joe has invited Anna Owens who recently released her epic album Ribs, Ray Hoskins who has the album Poisoned Apple Lies out which was produced by Joe Shelton, Uptown Sound which is a powerhouse folk/americana duo and Rogers Lee who brings his fantastic brand of storytelling songwriting to the stage.

The HJ Ricks Centre for the Arts is a fantastic venue for this event and we will have Moonshine and Music cameras on hand to record the action for later release on the YouTube and podcast channels. Come be a big part of the show and excitement of LIVE ORIGINAL MUSIC!
